The Warner Robins Housing Authority has 426 units of public housing in the City of Warner Robins and 40 units under the Houston County Housing Authority.

PRESS RELEASE

The Warner Robins Housing Authority, along with local Agencies and community sponsors will be hosting the 5TH ANNUAL BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH. This collaboration of partners will have school supplies and book bags available to the children of the entire community. Each child should have the school supplies they need to engage in an active learning environment. Staff members, volunteers, sponsors, and business employees will gather to stuff 2,000 BOOK BAGS Friday, July 18 at the Warner Robins Civic Center. The Back 2 School Bash will be a community wide event that will take place July 25, 2014 beginning 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the McCONNELL TALBERT STADUIM PARKING LOT. Hotdogs, chips, and soft drinks will be provided along with a full book bag of supplies (while supplies last). There will also be entertainment at the event such as a live remote broadcast, face painting, and a moon walk. Free haircuts, dental screenings, and finger printing will be available.

The Warner Robins Housing Authority has partnered with the following agencies to make this event a community success: Agape Outreach Ministries, Ameri-Group Real Solutions in Healthcare, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Central Georgia Technical College, Chick-fil-A, City of Warner Robins, CFC, Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia, First Choice Primary Care, Habitat for Humanity (Houston County), Harvest Builders Center, HODAC , Houston County Board of Education, Houston County Health Department, Houston Healthcare, Houston County Housing Authority, Huntington Village, Kids’ Journey, Kohl’s, McDonald’s, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Target, UICF, Walgreens, and Walmart.

City of Warner Robins Housing Authority The Warner Robins Housing Authority’s Public Housing Waiting Lists for Jimmy Rosenberg Homes, Mary B Terry Homes, Herman Watson Homes, Cam Campbell Homes and TJ Calhoun Homes are closed. These lists closed on May 22, 2014 at 10:01 AM. The list for our Senior Community remains open. Senior Applicants may call Cindy Crowley, 478-929-0229, for additional information. You may also come to our office at 112 Memorial Terrace, to complete and application during regular office hours. A Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD) is 1-800-545-1833 (Ext. 407), is available per the Fair Housing Amendment Act of 1988.

The Board of Commissioners for the Warner Robins Housing Authority and the Houston County Housing Authority approved that the 2014 Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) be set out for review and Public Comment. The ACOP can be reviewed at any of our offices. Our offices are located at 112 Memorial Terrace; 119 Appian Way; 300 Burnham Drive; 110 Oak Grove Road; and 1137 Kathleen Bynum Drive. The ACOP is also on this website. It will be out for review for thirty (30) days.

The Warner Robins Housing Authority (WRHA) is currently accepting sealed bids for the Maintenance Office / Shop Building.

The minimum bid of $10,000.00 must be submitted WRHA’s Central Office.
