Waiting Lists

August 19th, 2015

The Warner Robins & Houston County Housing Authorities will be opening their Public Housing Waiting Lists. Jimmy Rosenberg, Mary B Terry, Herman Watson, Cam Campbell, TJ Calhoun, & Kathleen Bynum Homes will be accepting applications for public housing for all bedroom sizes; opening-8AM, closing-10AM, on August 27, 2015, at 112 Memorial Terr., Warner Robins GA 31093. Applicants must be 18 or older and provide identification. Applicants already on waiting lists for other housing programs must apply separately for this program and will not lose their place on other waiting lists. Persons with disabilities who require a reasonable accommodation in completing an application may call 478-929-0229, to make special arrangements. A Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD) is 1-800-545-1833 Ext. 407. In compliance with the Fair Housing Amendment Act of 1988.

Community Wide Back 2 School Bash 2015

The Warner Robins Housing Authority is proud to announce that the Community Wide Back 2 School Bash 2015 will be on July 31, 2015. The Bash will be at the McConnell-Talbert Stadium Parking Lot. The gates will open at 9:00 AM. There will be vendors on site, fun activities for the children, face painting, FREE HAIRCUTS, HOT DOGS and CHIPS. We will be giving out 5,000 book bags with the school supplies inside. The book bags will be given out in a first come, first served basis. In order for a child to get a book bag, the following must be done:

  • Parent must have a child with them; Parents will not be given a book bag without a child present.
  • A ticket will be given to each child; if the child loses the ticket they will not be given a book bag.
  • The Air Force Volunteers will be passing out the tickets and be in control of the waiting line. They will also have water.
  • All Parents and Children must be patient and most of all enjoy the Bash.

2015 Annual and Five Year Plan

The Warner Robins and Houston County Housing Authorities set out a copy of their 2015 Annual and Five Year Plan for Public review and comment on January 28, 2015. The review and comment period will be for the next forty-five days. You may review them at all of the Authorities Offices, the City Clerks’ Office, the HODAC Office, the Nola Brantley Memorial Library and the Houston County Public Library. They will be collected on March 16, 2015. You may also review them here on our website. Thank you for your interest in the Warner Robins and Houston County Housing Authorities.
